Try it and see: Imagine what somebody is going to say or do next. After all, you rationally know that you cannot mentally control the actions of others. This is confirmation that you are having an episode of déjà vu. Somebody just said or did something you knew they were going to say or do. After waiting for a short period, you continue to feel like you have been here before.Ĭontinue whatever activity you were involved in and try to distract yourself from the possibility that you may be about to experience déjà vu.
